The village of Palalda  
Palalda is a medeival village perched on the hills overlooking the river Tech and adjoining Amelie Les Bains, a spa town with its own thermal springs. This is a perfect location to visit if you want to explore an area full of Catalan influences and architecture, where the people are welcoming and the landscape is breathtaking.

  The local Museum holds art exhibitions and there is another museum tracing the history of the origin of the Post Office up to the present day.
The village square in Palalda is used for musical events and festivals and there is a market selling local produce held every Sunday morning, during spring and summer months.

Horse Riding Stable  
   
There is a riding stable just 10 minutes walk from the village. It is easy to arrange either lessons or a trek whilst on holiday.
